Urgent Appointment

In a life threatening emergency, please call 999. 

If you need to speak to a doctor urgently, we can offer urgent telephone call appointments (Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm) from the on-the-day Duty Doctor. 

Our trained reception staff will kindly ask you what the urgent matter is regarding so they can provide the Duty Doctor with as much helpful information as possible, so they can prioritsie the urgent call backs. 

If the Duty Doctor would like to see you face-to-face, they will arrange a suitable appointment for you.

Routine Appointment

We offer on-the-day routine appointments and pre-bookable routine appointments in advance. 

For an on-the-day routine appointment, they are released every morning at 8.30am. Please be aware these appointments are first come first serve. 

Our trained reception staff will kindly ask you what you need help with so they can choose the most suitable health care professional to help you. 

To make a routine appointment: 

  • phone us on 01463 782214 (Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm)
  • visit the surgery and speak to a receptionist (Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm)

Home Visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we can offer a home visit. The doctor will call you before visiting, to understand what you need. 

To request a home visit, please call the surgery on 01463 782214 BEFORE 10.30am.

 

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • phone us on 01463 782214 (Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm)

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment for you.  

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help when the surgery is closed, please use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone or face-to-face
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs
